We are currently the largest provider of HIV/AIDS medical care in the world. AHF funds its mission to rid the world of AIDS through a network of pharmacies, thrift stores, healthcare contracts and other strategic partnerships. Generating new, innovative ways of treatment, prevention and advocacy has been the hallmark of our success. Since 1987, AHF has cared for millions of people living with HIV and AIDS worldwide. AHF Haiti & U.S. Army Deliver Aid in Wake of Disaster Working with the U.S. Army, AHF Haiti’s medical team transported supplies to communities impacted by the recent 7.2 earthquake. As first responders throughout the Caribbean and Latin America, AHF staff sent 7,000 pounds of critically needed medical equipment and supplies to hospitals and medical centers in response to the recent earthquake that devastatingly impacted Haiti. Through grants, emergency funds, and strategic partnerships, we’re able to provide millions of dollars worth of life-saving services, programs, and more. 4.7 MILLION Dollars in a Year Last year, we provided grants worth $4.7 million to organizations that promote HIV testing, awareness, prevention, treatment, and more. 218 Emergency Grants In 2021 alone, we gave out $2,033,810 in 218 emergency grants to provide small, community organizations relief to deliver vital services in their areas. 23 MILLION & Counting Dollars to Community Partners We invested $23,036,037 million dollars in our partner organizations to provide testing and vital services in areas and communities in need.
